AmeriCorps Youth Instructor - Moscow School District
Serve through the Idaho 4-H AmeriCorps Positive Youth Development program at the Moscow School District as an AmeriCorps Youth Development Instructor. Deliver hands-on S.T.E.A.M. education to Idaho youth. Serve as a positive role model while gaining networking and professional development experience.
Member Duties:
- Develop or gather curricula focused on STEAM
- Organize and lead activities for participating students in afterschool and summer programs (kindergarten-5th grade)
- Collect and enter data, conduct community outreach, and network with community partners
- Expand your experience in education curriculum development, education presentation, and other professional skills
- Spend 60% of your time in front of students teaching
- Prepare lessons in an office setting
