E&T Grants Coordinator

GRANT COORDINATOR

Regular Full Time

Status: Exempt / Salary

Reports to: Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Ability to write, implement, and report on grant funding
  • Assist in preparation of grant proposals
  • Review, update, and maintain client files
  • To ensure compliance with grant parameters, standards, and requirements perform the following:
  • Plan, review, and provide ongoing training
  • Review E&T programs
  • Perform on-site monitoring of field offices
  • Review and approve client enrollment and training agreements
  • Review and approve payment vouchers from field offices
  • Monitor and approve department operating and program expenses     
  • Ability to assist in the preparation and implementation of an annual budget and monitor expenditures
  • Assist in designing department forms, manuals, computer programs, and related documents
  • Assist in employee supervision, hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
  • Participate in CC Idaho short/long-range planning activities, analyze community needs to determine program offerings
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and pay close attention to detail
  • Supervise the Technical Records Specialist
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records
  • Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices

Qualifications                                                

Required

  • Associate degree in social services, counseling or related field
  • One or more years’ experience in grant writing and budgeting
  • One-year experience in employment and training and/or business management
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance 
  • Must pass a background check

 

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling, or related field

 

Required Physical Demands 

  • Is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

 

Work Environment

Work in an office or classroom setting; may be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is moderate to elevated
