Electrical Designer
A Spokane based manufacturer of industrial equipment serving the steel building & aluminum beverage can industries is seeking to hire an adaptable self motivated team member who is able to travel both domestically and internationally. This position can start as part-time while in school and transition to full-time upon graduation.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial automation or relevant work experience
- Strong background in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Strong Programming Skills
Job Description:
- Provides costing estimates for industrial automation control systems
- Designs automation control systems both hardware, software and motion controls
- Collaborates with mechanical engineers
- Oversees manufacturing and assembly of automation control systems
- Oversees startup & test of industrial machines both in factory and at customers locations
- Oversees installation, field startup of industrial machinery
- Prepare and oversee training for operators and maintenance personnel in customers facilities
- Diagnoses and oversees corrective action of industrial machinery
- Other duties as assigned
