College Intern (Learning & Development)
CHAS HEALTH'S EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM
Learning & Development is excited to announce that CHAS Health's Emerging Leaders Program is looking for a College Intern! The Emerging Leaders Program will introduce existing employees who are in a non-supervisory role, to the multiple facets of Leadership at CHAS Health, through structured learning activities, mentorship, and a tailored curriculum that fosters the development of internal CHAS Health leadership talent.
Pay Range: $18.85 - $26.09 USD Hourly
Purpose of Job:
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve and expand the availability of health care by assisting one of the departments below as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations:
· Completes assigned projects thoroughly and within given parameters.
· Communicates effectively with stakeholders.
· Assists with clinic-based operational tasks and projects as assigned.
All:
· Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
· Workforce Development & Operations: At least six months experience in an administrative environment preferred. Must be currently enrolled as a full time college student.
Skills:
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent time management and organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills, intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), exceptional understanding of confidentiality. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit. The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
