Engineer
We are seeking an Engineer to assist energy efficiency projects for multifamily buildings, commercial/industrial buildings as well as hospital, education facilities. This position includes both office work and field work. You will be performing energy auditing, special testing, engineering survey and sometimes installing energy conservation measures.
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspection, data collections, field testing, make schematic drawings
- Perform data analysis, data entry, simple designs and calculations
- Design and develop energy conservation measures and retro-commissioning deficiencies
- Implement energy efficiency measures, such as drilling cast iron pipes, installing valves, insulate bare piping
- Perform calculations of energy savings, field verifications
- Be responsible for technical and financial aspects of projects
- Ensure customer/client satisfaction for tasks performed
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards throughout the inspection
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Document inspection processes, test results, and project specifications clearly and accurately.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to apply engineering principles effectively.
- Proficiency in CAD software is a plus, person vehicle is required
- Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in design work.
- Construction or plumbing installation experience is preferred
- Willing to learn
