Control Systems Engineer

Quality Controls Corporation (QCC) is seeking full-time Control Systems Engineers to design and implement automated control systems primarily focused on water and wastewater treatment, as well as transportation, food and beverage, fisheries, and many other industries. QCC manufactures UL508A industrial control panels, programs automated controllers and graphical user interfaces, supplies process instrumentation, and commissions these systems at jobsites throughout the Pacific Northwest.
What You'll Do:
- Combine electrical circuit theory, software programming, and mechanical aptitude to complete project responsibilities.
- Design industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), SCADA systems using various manufacturer platforms.
- Create intuitive user interfaces that help operators monitor and control complex equipment.
- Configure and manage networks between computers, radios, and various industrial automation system components.
- Work with high-power motor control equipment (up to 500+ HP), including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Soft Starters, and Manual Motor Starters.
- Deploy and calibrate advanced process instrumentation including flow meters, level transducers, pressure transmitters, and water quality analyzers.
- Visit project sites to test and implement your solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, computer science, etc.)
