Farm Equipment Operator - Farm Hand

We’re hiring a key person to join our team as a full-time or part-time Farm Equipment Operator – Farm Hand who will be operating and maintaining equipment, spraying, seed cleaning, truck driving and more depending on the season. In this role you will be a key person to our operation, limited on-the-job training is possible for the right person but must have some ag related background.
We are a mid-sized grain farming operation in Moscow-Troy area producing small grains, grass seed, and specialty crops.
We offer competitive compensation based on experience ($18-35/hr). Work part time through the end of the academic year then full time through the summer. For the right candidate a career position is also a possibility.
What we’re looking for:
· Experience and/or knowledge in agriculture, farming, or relatable field operating farm and other heavy equipment.
· Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
· A CDL is a plus but not required. The ability to learn to drive a truck is required.
-Ability to work long hours and lift 100lbs is required. A typical day is 9-12 hrs with Sundays off.
What you will be doing:
· Operating and performing maintenance on farm and other heavy equipment.
· Herbicide spraying and performing seed cleaning operations.
· Driving trucks hauling grain, equipment, etc.
