Purpose
The purpose of Red Aspen’s Product Strategy team is to concept, develop and launch consumable, playful, and compelling products to inclusively support the businesses of all Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates. We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Strategy Intern to assist with task execution and provide hands-on support. They would be focused primarily on nails and branded merchandise product categories, with additional responsibilities in skincare, makeup, lashes, and other product areas as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Product Strategy team with completion of tasks in all phases of product development for a variety of product verticals (nails, skincare, makeup, lashes, etc.).
- Manage and track product samples, ensuring they are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to assist in the development of product packaging.
- Create SKUs and enter data into the inventory system (EMMA), ensuring accurate product descriptions.
- Research and identify prospective suppliers for branded merchandise; request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Track and manage critical project milestones to ensure on-time product launches, proactively identifying trade-offs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze data, conduct research, and summarize findings to support decision-making.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Comfortable with a level of autonomy and ability to take on challenges.
