Cenarrusa Internship

The Basque Museum & Cultural Center (BMCC), located in Boise, Idaho, is currently taking applications for the 2025 Cenarrusa Internship. This internship is granted to two University of Idaho freshmen, sophomores, or juniors, with preference given to sophomores and juniors. The internship is also open to seniors and graduate or doctoral students, with the stipulation that they are still enrolled at the University of Idaho the semester following the internship.

The 2025 internship will focus on curatorial tasks that may include exhibit research, exhibit development and installation, cataloging and processing donations, cleaning and storing artifacts, indexing oral histories, conducting exhibit research, data entry, inventories, document scanning, and library projects, as well as other tasks and activities related to Museum education, administration, gift shop, tours, etc.

The BMCC is offering two paid 8-week internships working 25 hours a week. The internship will start in early June and continue to the end of July. Housing in Boise is not provided and it is the responsibility of the intern to obtain housing during the internship. Likewise, transportation and parking are not provided by the BMCC and will need to be arranged by the intern.
