Role Snapshot

Coach One Rising Star: Provide weekly 1-on-1 virtual sessions focused on advanced mechanics, E&M, thermodynamics, waves, and modern physics at Olympiad depth.

Design a Roadmap: Create a month-by-month study and problem-solving plan that bridges USAPhO Gold to IPhO medal contention.

Model Problem-Solving Rigor: Walk through past IPhO/USAPhO problems, refining proof techniques, estimation skills, and experimental design.

Mentor & Motivate: Track progress, assign targeted problem sets, and give feedback on solution writing and speed.

Ideal Qualifications

IPhO medalist or coach; USAPhO Top 50 distinction minimum.

Currently pursuing / completed a Physics or Applied Math degree at a tier-1 university.

Fluent with common Olympiad resources (e.g., Problems in General Physics by Irodov, Jaan Kalda notes, Asian Physics Olympiad papers).

Prior tutoring, TA, or coaching experience with high-achieving students.

Excellent communicator with patience and enthusiasm.
