Desk Clerk - Fitness Center

The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for Summer Season Desk Clerks. This is a part-time, non-benefited position working between the Orem Family Fitness Center and the SCERA Park Pools. Desk Clerks are responsible for monitoring the admission into and usage of recreation facilities, including the Orem Family Fitness Center and SCERA Park Pools. Employees in this position collect fees from patrons, sell memberships, check equipment in and out, handle department-wide program registrations, assist with minor cleaning of facility and grounds, and supervise and monitor activities within the facilities. Desk Clerks also enforce rules and policies, and operate equipment and appliances as they relate to the concessions and operations of the fitness center and pools (including, but not limited to: washer, dryer, microwave, and cash register).
