Software Engineer Intern

The Role
As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll collaborate directly with our founding team to develop and implement engineering solutions across multiple domains. You'll work on challenging projects spanning consumer applications, data analysis, and potentially multi-agent systems within quantitative finance.

This internship offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from accomplished founders and experts across quantitative finance, fintech, AI, and high-frequency data fields—while making meaningful contributions to our platform.

  • Modern development environments (Windsurf, Cursor, etc.)

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to our full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems
  • Collaborate on building and enhancing our user-facing investment platform
  • Work with data structures and algorithms that power our investment strategies
  • Assist in developing and optimizing our AI-powered analytical tools
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with senior engineers
  • Help create elegant, scalable solutions to complex financial technology challenges

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong programming fundamentals with experience in web development (React experience a plus)
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web development practices
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL fundamentals
  • Understanding of or interest in AI/ML concepts, tools, and applications
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) is a plus
  • Interest in financial markets and investment technology
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Bonus Points For

  • Previous projects incorporating AI/ML components
  • Experience with data structuring or database optimization
  • Familiarity with concurrent programming concepts
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment
  • Previous internship experience in fintech or related fields
  • Open-source contributions or personal coding projects
