Business Data Analyst Intern

The Marketplace Strategy Team (MPS) at DiDi International Business Group (IBG) informs data-driven decisions on formulating short & long-term strategies, facilitating healthy growth, and addressing challenging marketplace issues across different regions with advanced statistical modelling, machine learning, and data mining. The team strives to develop, and implement advanced analytical solutions to support decision-making across multi-functional teams. 

 

The ideal candidate will play a role in developing multiple parts of the business by analysing past, current, and future business trends. This individual will establish strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implement these strategies. They often work cross-functionally with internal business units to understand these teams' challenges and provide solution designs to address the most challenging and prioritised issues.

Responsibilities 

Own new product categories, pricing, and incentive strategy & framework design 

Program manage, and implement strategies alongside Ops, Product & Engineering teams Identify and solve weaknesses within the existing workflows 

Explore new strategies to increase ROI and Retention through in-depth data analysis

Strategic Planning for Marketplace Team empowering mobility businesses across regions

An excellent individual contributor & team player with: 

1、Graduate in class 2026, Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering Business Analytics or related field (GPA 3.5 or higher to apply) intern experience in related industries (Tech, Management Consulting, Investment Banking etc); 

2、Proficient in data analysis (SQL, Spark, Python, Excel etc) & excellent presentation skills (PPT); 

3、Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Proficient in Mandarin / Spanish is a strong Plus);

 4、Work Location preferably in Shanghai, China.
